The Buisson-Chamois regional cable car is open every day of the year (except for short maintenance periods) from 7.00 to 22.25, with runs every 30 minutes or 15 in case of high turnout.
During the summer the opening hours are extended on Saturday and Sunday, during the period of August as well as in the event of events.

Extraordinary rides are also guaranteed on the evening of 31 December to be able to attend the picturesque traditional torchlight procession at the end of the year.

If you don’t want to remember it, after use, throw your ticket in a basket.

    ADVANCE PAYMENT BY BANK TRANSFER

    The organizing subject (association / school etc.) who wishes to pay in advance by bank transfer and subsequently receives the electronic invoice, must contact the Cassa of the regional cableway +39 0166 550 106 at least 10 working days before the date of hypothetical use of the regional cableway Buisson-Chamois.

PROVISIONS FOR TRAVELLERS

1) Travellers must be in possession of the required travel document before using the installation, both outward and return.

2) The order of precedence for the climb is given exclusively by the order of presentation at departure.

3) It is forbidden for travellers to speak to the staff of the installation, except for need of service.

4) The travel document must be presented to the staff of the passenger control facility.

5) The price of the ticket includes the transport of skis and snowboards and ordinary hand luggage, not exceeding a total weight of 20 kg and not containing dangerous or harmful materials. The carriage of various items exceeding the normal baggage is allowed in the manner indicated in art. 17 letter a) and b).

6) The transport of bicycles and sports equipment other than those mentioned in point 5 is permitted, subject to the approval of the Head of Service and the payment of the relevant ticket.

7) Travellers are required to follow the instructions given by the monitoring signs posted at the stations. They must also comply with the rules issued by the competent authorities and comply with all the special provisions that, in order to avoid accidents, are given by the personnel involved in the plant.

8) Access to persons who are clearly intoxicated or who are mentally or physically abnormal is prohibited.

9) Boarding is not recommended for passengers who are not sufficiently protected in relation to the environmental climatic conditions at the time of boarding.

10) The transport of animals is allowed on vehicles in the manner indicated in art. 16.

11) Children under the age of 6 must be accompanied by an adult and responsible person.

12) On departure, passengers must be in the positions indicated to them by the agents; it is strictly forbidden to enter the vehicles without the presence of the agent.

13) On-line passengers are prohibited: • to cause any movement of the vehicles; • to travel in the wrong position on the vehicles; • to touch and operate the stop, safety and signalling devices on the vehicles; • throwing objects from car windows; • smoking in cars; • damaging or soiling cars.

14) It is absolutely forbidden for passengers to enter the technical rooms of the cable car and approach the vehicles by motorbike, let alone to get on in case the stations were found unattended by the staff.

15) In the event of a serious breakdown requiring on-line assistance, passengers shall be notified by communication from the vehicle agent; in this case, travellers must strictly follow the instructions given by the staff of the cable car, refraining from any personal initiative, even when, for particular conditions, Some of them may think that they can best provide directly for the rescue of themselves and others.

16) Travellers who do not comply with the provisions of the preceding paragraphs shall be held liable for any damage caused to the Operator, other travellers and third parties.

18) Infringers of the provisions regularly brought to the public’s attention by means of special notices posted by the Operator both in stations and on-line, the non-compliance of which causes serious damage to the safety of other passengers or damages the facilities, may be sanctioned pursuant to art. 35 paragraph 6 of the regional law 20/2008.

CARRIAGE OF GOODS AND ANIMALS

It is allowed the transport of luggage, goods, materials with schedules, rates and methods approved by the Autonomous Region of Aosta Valley.

a) BAGGAGE AND PACKAGES
Every passenger with a travel document, in addition to ordinary hand luggage (handbag, briefcase 24 hours, backpack, ski, snowboard, bags - up to a maximum of 5 bags of normal size), is allowed free transport of two items between suitcases or backpacks, not exceeding a total weight of 20 kg and not containing dangerous or harmful materials.

Excess baggage, when admitted, is subject to the payment of a transport fee approved by the Regional Council.

b) GOODS AND MATERIALS
Compatible with passenger transport, which is in any case a priority, the transport of goods and materials by cable car is permitted provided that they are easy to load and unload from cars, with particular reference to the size and type of goods and material; when admitted, they must carry the prescribed travel document approved by the Autonomous Region of Valle d'Aosta and are subject to the payment of a fee ordered by the Regional Council.

There is an absolute ban on the transport of dangerous and harmful substances (jerrycans, tanks of petrol, diesel, ether, other liquid fuels, LPG cylinders, whether or not spent, or materials which may in some way attack aluminium and its derivatives such as cement, Portland, various acids, etc.). The handling of baggage, goods and materials from the loading area to the unloading area and vice versa shall be carried out by the owner, consignee or carrier.

The loading and unloading of luggage, goods and materials on the cable car must be carried out by the owner, by the consignee and the carrier on the precise indications of the cable car operators for a load distribution in accordance with ensuring the safety conditions in the car. Baggage, cargo and materials unloaded from the vehicles must be promptly picked up and removed from the boarding area by the owner, consignee or carrier in order not to hinder the transit of passengers.

If baggage, goods and materials are not promptly removed, they must be stored outside the station buildings.

c) TRANSPORT OF PETS
As for the presence of dogs on public transport, in compliance with the relevant provisions of the O.M. 12/12/2006 published in the G.U. n. 10 of 13/01/2007, the owners and holders of dogs, similarly to the provisions of art. 83, first paragraph, paragraphs c) and d) of the Veterinary Regulations, approved by Decree of the President of the Republic of 8 February 1954, n. 320, have the obligation to apply the muzzle and leash to dogs conducted in public places and on public transport and have a liability insurance policy for damages against third parties caused by their dog.

Are totally excluded from the application of the O.M. 12/12/2006 published in the G.U. n. 10 of 13/01/2007 dogs trained in the Armed Forces, Police, Civil Protection and Firefighters, as well as accompanying dogs, trained as guide dogs, for blind or visually impaired persons, who are allowed in the car free of charge, even if they do not have a muzzle.

Anyone who owns or holds dogs referred to in art. 1, paragraph 1 letter b) has the obligation to watch with particular attention on the conduct of the same in order to avoid any possible aggression.

For small dogs, as per the provisions on the subject, are intended those that can be enclosed in crates of a size not exceeding 70x50x30 cm.

Each passenger shall not be allowed to accompany more than two dogs unless the operator grants an exemption. Other small pets (cats, birds, small rodents, small poultry), in order to be transported, must be kept in suitable cages or containers.

During the journey, the owner or carrier of the animals must keep them away from the passengers, without prejudice to their liability for any damage to persons or property or to the cableway during the service.

The animals must carry the prescribed travel document approved by the Autonomous Region of Aosta Valley.
